Dr Girish Jamnadas 

Ophthalmologist MBBS DO FRCS Ophth (Glasgow) FRANZCO

 

Dr Jamnadas completed his ophthalmology training in Glasgow. A few years later, he sub-specialised in retinal diseases and treatment at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne. Dr Jamnadas' broad international exposure and continuing medical education enable him to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and treatments in the field of Ophthalmology.

Clinical Optometrists

Both our Clinical Optometrists, Jennifer and TenTen, graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Vision Science and Master of Optometry. Jennifer and Ten Ten are both therapeutically qualified and involved in the assessment of patients, including post-operative eye care. They joined our team at the beginning of 2021.

Practice Nurse

 

Madison graduated from the University of Southern Queensland with a Bachelor of Nursing in early 2019 and joined the team in August 2019. Madison helps patients throughout their journey at Ipswich Eye Centre, from vision assessments to running diagnostic screening tests and assisting with minor procedures.

Practice Receptionist 

Our friendly receptionist Ashleigh is more than happy to assist you with scheduling appointments, billings and general enquiries. Ashleigh joined our team in November 2019 and is our dedicated liaison with St Andrew's Ipswich Private Hospital to assist with your surgery bookings.

Dr Girish Jamnadas specialises in the management of macula degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, cataract and pterygium surgery, along with general eye and vison related problems.
